Livia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from The Hague University, where she specialised in criminal law. She is currently finalising her Master’s degree at Durham University. Livia has gained substantial experience as part of defence teams in high-profile criminal proceedings before international courts in The Hague. Her work has involved supporting complex and procedurally demanding cases, requiring strong analytical skills and attention to detail. She has developed the ability to operate effectively within multicultural legal environments and across different legal systems.

Livia’s legal expertise is further strengthened by specialised training in human rights, international law, and criminal law, with a particular focus on access to justice for vulnerable groups. Alongside this, Livia has delivered training sessions on legal topics, demonstrating a strong ability to communicate complex legal concepts in a clear and practical way.
