DJMS Solicitors strengthens Newcastle presence with move to new city centre office

Specialist defence law firm DJMS Solicitors has moved to a new Newcastle office following 15% headcount growth and continued expansion across the North East and nationally.

DJMS Solicitors, which acts for clients across England and Wales, has moved its Newcastle office to 35A Side, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 3JE, close to the Crown Court and Magistrates' Court on the Quayside.

The new office provides easier access for clients and their families at what is often one of the most vulnerable and stressful times in their lives. The 17,000 sq ft offices, arranged over three floors, include extensive conference facilities to support clients, solicitors, advocates and the wider DJMS team when dealing with cases in nearby courts.

The move has been made to increase the firm's visibility in Newcastle and support the continued growth of its Newcastle office and Crown Court departments. Over the last 18 months, the firm has grown its headcount by 15% and is continuing to recruit, with current vacancies for experienced Higher Rights and Duty Solicitor qualified Advocates.

The new Newcastle office forms part of DJMS Solicitors' wider regional network, with offices in Sunderland, Newcastle, South Shields, North Shields, Consett and Gateshead. The firm has also recently opened a new North Shields office opposite the court building, offering full conference facilities and convenient access to the courts for clients and the DJMS team.
